Acolytes :: St. David’s is fortunate to have many wonderful church members who volunteer their time to serve as acolytes. Being an acolyte includes lighting and extinguishing altar candles, leading the procession and assisting Father Chuck in the celebration of the Eucharist to ensure a smooth service.  Every Sunday at the 10:00 service and special holidays, one to three acolytes participate in assisting with the service.

Currently we have fourteen acolytes who on average serve one Sunday per month. Any adult or child in grade five or above can participate in training to be an acolyte.  We are always looking for new volunteers who would like to be a part of this important ministry!
