• St. David’s 2008 Third Giving Tree...is ready to be picked!
  
  We will be collecting back packs and school supplies for the children in residence at New London’s Covenant Shelter and Norwich’s TVCCA Shelter.  Please pick a tag and return your donation by Sunday, August 24^th.  If you have any questions, please contact the church office. 
   
   

• St. David’s Annual Tag Sale
  Saturday, August 23rd, 9:00 AM - 1:00PM
  Please contact the church office to reserve a table.
  
  Volunteers are needed to oversee the “Saint David’s” table as well as setting up and manning a coffee and donut table.

• St. Francis Blessing of the Animals
  Sunday, October 5^th, at 2 pm in our beautiful St. Francis Grove.
  Each pet receives an individual blessing!
   
   

• Outreach Opportunity!  2008 Gales Ferry/Ledyard CROP Walk
  Sunday, October 5^th at 1:00 PM. 
  An organizational meeting will be held Tuesday, August 12^th, at 6:00 PM at the Gales Ferry United Methodist Church.  It would be wonderful if someone would be willing to represent St. David’s at the meeting and then organize participation from our church.  If you need more information, please call 464-6527.
