Gales Ferry-Ledyard and surrounding town churches together for the CROP Hunger Walk Kickoff !

Hosted by Saint David's, ALL congregations are invited to bring representatives: - young, old, between, and friends. Come hear and respond to the facts about poverty and hunger in our neighborhood. Let's work together to Team our ideas and eradicate hunger.  

Materials for Teams, resources to build our CROP Walk to meet the challenge with enthusiastic determination will be shared at this meeting. Bring a little of those attitudes with you!  Heather Powell from the regional CROP office plans to attend, and Nancy Rossi will represent the Gemma E Moran Food Center.  Their words will show us how Hunger Walk funds are used and why we WALK to end hunger locally and globally.

Registration 12:30 at United Methodist Church 

and the Walk begins at 1:00.

The 25% local share is for The Gemma E Moran Food Center -- Our total goal is $20,000!
