Our Pastor :: The Reverend Charles M. Baker, affectionately called “Fr. Chuck”, has been St. David’s rector since June, 2000.  Fr. Chuck is a native of Delaware who spent fifteen years in the business world before attending seminary. Prior to accepting his call to St. David’s he served churches in the vicinity of Charleston, South Carolina.

Since coming to St. David’s, Fr. Chuck has helped us to develop effective programs for teens, build strong commitments to stewardship and expand our outreach ministry throughout the community and the world.  His love for scripture and heart for teaching has helped many of us connect our faith to everyday life.

Fr. Chuck is married to Lee, who is a nurse, and has two grown children.
